Albany Park

A 1930s commuter suburb on the eastern side of Sidcup built around Albany Park railway station on the Dartford loop line.

Albany Park is a residential suburb on the eastern side of Sidcup, straddling the boundary between the London Borough of Bexley and the DA14 and DA5 postcodes. It developed as a planned housing estate around its railway station in the 1930s.

## Albany Park Station

Albany Park railway station is the focus of the area, on the Dartford loop line with Southeastern services towards London and Dartford. The station gives the suburb a strong commuter character, with the surrounding streets a mix of 1930s semi-detached and later housing.

## Green Space and Getting Around

The River Shuttle green corridor runs close by, offering walking routes and open space. Bus routes connect Albany Park with Sidcup town centre, Bexley village and Bexleyheath.
